Staying here

It is now possible to stay in Grantchester either at:

Manor Farmhouse which offers bed and breakfast accommodation tel: 01223 842338 or email john<at>manorfarm1.plus.com.

The Blue Ball Pub on Broadway also operates a Bed and Breakfast.

There is also plenty of accommodation in and around Cambridge. Two nearby options in Trumpington are: The Lord Byron Inn, and (newly opened to B & B) Anstey HallĀ . Here is a link to Cambridge Tourist Information’s accommodation page.

Hello. Is there a church choir in Grantchester? Also are the church bells rung each Sunday and is there a communion service?
    Thank you

      Hello.
There isn’t a regular choir at the church.
The bells are rung for weddings and special occasions and one bell is rung before the 10.30 service every week.
There is a Communion Service at 8am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
Parish Communion at 10.30 on the first and third Sundays, with an All Age Family Communion the second Sunday at 10.30.
The fourth Sunday we have a traditional morning sung service at 10.30.
If there is a fifth Sunday, we move between Newnham, Trumpington and Grantchester for a Joint Communion Service.
      I hope that helps.
