The only bus to Grantchester is the 18 from Drummond Street bus station – so you would first need to get there, or take a bus from the Beehive up to the Catholic Church on the corner of Regents Street and Lensfield Road. There is a bus stop on Lensfield Road just before the Scott Polar Institute where you can catch the 18 bus.
Is it possible please to walk from the Trumpington Park & Ride car park to Grantchester, without going all the long way round via Waitrose?
Many thanks WB
You can take a shortcut via the Trumpington Country Park. Because there’s still lots of construction at Trumpington Meadows, the pathways aren’t completely clear, but you can exit the Park and Ride in the back corner (by John Lewis) and head straight into the park. From there, head down to the exit by Byron’s Pool.
I’m wondering what bus to take feom Beehive Center on Newmarket to Grantchester. Thank you.
