I used to live in Gt Shelford during the war, and often visited the swimming pool. Thanks to the TV series for bringing back memories.
There is a rumour going round that The Green Man has closed due to the landlord tripling the rent ? Cannot see anything anywhere about this and wonder if you can confirm/ deny please ?

It’s true that The Green Man is currently closed. I don’t know the commercial arrangements between the owners and the Leasee, but Heineken (the owners) have said that they expect to open it up again soon.
