Apple pressing

There are lots of apple trees in Grantchester and pressing the fruit is a village activity that happens in October each year. Everyone is welcome and you can get a better idea of what is involved by viewing some of Christine Jennings’ photos of the event in 2009 or by reading Tom Day’s account from 2013. £146 was raised at the Apple Pressing in 2013 for Open Arms School in Zambia.
