This website moves at about the same pace as a barrel hurtling down Coton Road. So as this May Bank Holiday comes to an end we thought a trip down memory lane to last year’s Barrel Rolling might be in order.

It was a beautiful day, and as ever some people won, others lost, and most competition was forgotten by the time everyone reached one of the pubs for mulled wine, beer and mince pies.

These photos come from visiting photographer Jim Marsden, who at age 89 is about to enter his barrel rolling prime.
