An election was requested for the two vacancies on Grantchester Parish Council. One candidate was elected unopposed.
No nomination was received for the second vacancy and so a new by-election will be held to fill said vacancy. A by-election will now be held for the remaining vacancy on 28 August.
Nominations open on 23 July and close at 4pm on 31 July. Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the elections team at the Cambourne Offices. The office is open 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Should more than one candidate come forward a poll will be held.
The deadline to register to vote will be 11 August.
The deadline to apply for a postal vote or cancel an existing postal vote will be 5pm on 12 August.
The deadline to apply for a proxy vote or a voter authority certificate will be 5pm on 19 August.
