Grantchester Recreation Ground is located at the end of Stulpfield Road, off Coton Road (see map at the foot of this page). This pleasant, secluded spot has the children’s playground (with rubber safety surfacing), adult exercise equipment, an outdoor table-tennis table (bring your own bats and balls), a small football pitch and picnic tables and seating.

The playground was refurbished during 2023/24, the second phase being completed in August 2024. It now includes equipment to suit all children from toddlers and less adventurous youngsters through to young teens.

The Recreation Ground its completely fenced, with a gate from the quiet Stulpfield Road, making it ideal for young children to run around freely.

The adjacent mini trampolines allow competitive jumping!

There are three eight-seat picnic tables, two of which have spaces for wheelchairs or children’s pushchairs.

The adult exercise bars and overhead ladder have usage instructions, with QR code links to more detailed video explanation.
