Cocks and Hens is Grantchester’s local tennis club.

Set in a beautiful countryside location with a history dating back to before Wimbledon and new facilities that opened in February 2017, it is a local club to be proud of.  It has 8 all weather courts that are all floodlit providing members with tennis all year round. They also have 2 lawn courts open during the summer months and a croquet lawn open to all. And a newly built clubhouse with great facilities and showers.

Cocks and Hens offer a comprehensive coaching programme, delivered by 4 experienced and friendly coaches, headed up by Justin Layne,.  With a wealth of experience at all levels, from those just starting out to working with some of the best players in the country.

There are sessions for a wide range of abilities and for most group sessions you do not need to be a member for your first term.
